Jane spent 10 years of her career at Russell Reynolds Associates where she quickly progressed from researcher to become one of the youngest and highest performing equity Partners of the firm globally. She built the Media, Entertainment & Digital Convergence Practice which she co-led on a global basis and during her tenure the firm was consistently ranked number one search firm within the TMT sector with regard to market share. She developed a number of successful board level client relationships in the UK, US and Asia working broadly across the consumer and technology sectors with a focus on digital transformation. She also co-developed a white paper on the human capital implications of digital convergence.

After an extended career break to have her family, Jane set up Sirocco Search in 2015 to help businesses and individuals embrace change and develop positively. She has worked with and advised a range of clients including search firms, consumer / media clients, and board level executives. She is particularly passionate about helping women return from career breaks and maintain a family balance as well as those seeking to take on their first non-executive board role.

In 2016 Jane helped The Zygos Partnership to help them develop their executive and non-executive board work in the media and consumer sectors and continued to work with them as an integral part of their team until their recent acquisition by Russell Reynolds in January 2018.

Jane continues to work directly with clients within the digital media and entertainment sector on high level executive search mandates and has recently become a Non-Executive Director of Erevena, an innovative search business focused on the recruitment of leadership teams for high-growth technology businesses. She presents at different forums on various topics including best practice in Executive Search and female board representation.

Earlier in her career, Jane also spent time working in TV Production for FremantleMedia and remains a member of The Royal Television Society. She has a BA Hons degree from Exeter University and a diploma in Communications, Advertising & Marketing.
